After an incredible 2026 showcase, we’re looking forward to bringing together Sacramento’s game development community for an even bigger celebration of independent games, creativity, and the talented developers who make it all possible.
CCS 2027 will take place on Saturday, May 15, 2027, at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center in Sacramento, California!
And the best part? Exhibitor registration is officially OPEN!
What Is Capital Creative Showcase?
Capital Creative Showcase is SDC’s annual indie game showcase, bringing together independent game developers, students, artists, industry professionals, and players from Sacramento and beyond.
Attendees can discover and play a wide variety of games, meet the people behind them, and experience firsthand the creativity coming out of our region’s growing game development community.
Whether you’re an established studio, a solo developer working on your first project, a student, or simply someone who loves video games, CCS is an opportunity to celebrate game development and connect with fellow creators.

Exhibiting at CCS is a great opportunity to put your game directly in front of players, gather valuable feedback, build awareness for your project, and connect with other developers.
We’re offering multiple exhibitor options to accommodate different projects and teams, including traditional booth spaces and a shared demo kiosk option for developers who can’t attend in person.
With our new venue at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center, we’re excited to welcome returning exhibitors and new developers alike!

The CCS Steam Event Is Returning — And Expanding!
One of our biggest additions in 2026 was the introduction of the CCS Steam Event, which brought participating games to a worldwide audience through Steam.
Our first Steam Event went way beyond our expectations in terms of metrics! With that in mind, For 2027, we’re expanding the Steam Event to give developers even more opportunities to reach new audiences!
The Steam Event will run alongside our in-person showcase, giving players the opportunity to discover participating games, visit their Steam pages, wishlist upcoming titles, and try available demos.
Developers who purchase exhibitor space at CCS 2027 will be eligible to participate in the Steam Event!
And if you’re unable to attend the physical showcase, we’ll also be offering opportunities for developers to participate in the Steam Event remotely.
Our goal is to make CCS more than a one-day event, giving developers a platform to promote their work both locally and internationally.

The Student Showcase Returns!
Supporting the next generation of game developers has always been an important part of CCS, and we’re excited to bring back our Student Showcase for 2027!
Last year, we welcomed a record number of student exhibitors, and we’re hoping to grow that number even further.
As always, students, schools, and educational organizations can showcase their games at CCS completely free of charge!
Participating educational organizations will receive up to two free booths, with additional booths available through a refundable deposit system. Deposits for additional booths will be fully refunded when those booths are used at the event.
Students will also have the opportunity to compete for the Outstanding Student Game Award, recognizing the creativity, dedication, and talent of our region’s aspiring game developers.
We encourage schools, educators, and student development clubs to get involved and give their students the opportunity to share their work with the public!

A New Venue for CCS 2027!
This year, we’re excited to bring CCS to the Scottish Rite Masonic Center, located at 6151 H Street in Sacramento.
Our new venue gives us another opportunity to grow the showcase while continuing to create an event that’s welcoming to developers and accessible to the broader community.
We’re looking forward to transforming the space into a celebration of games, art, and interactive entertainment!
