PGJ7 Kick-Off

Progressive Game Jam 7 kicks off with a virtual conference on Thursday, July 29th, 2021 at 5:00pm.
PGJ7 will be only 1 month long in 2021, occurring through the month of Aug. Project ideation and presentations and team building will all occur at this kick-off meeting prior to the jam officially starting on Aug. 1. We strongly encourage our participants to take this time to get their team setup with the tools and processes they will need for the jam prior to the official launch.
There will be two in-person/virtual meetups for the PGJ teams in August. The first on Saturday, Aug. 7th at 2:00pm at Hacker Lab in Sacramento where teams will present their project proposal and receive feedback and an official review from the Executive Producer.
The second in-person/virtual meetup will be held Saturday, Aug. 28th where teams are expected to demo their progress and will receive feedback from other teams.
The official PGJ Slack server will once again be made available to PGJ teams and will be the hub for interaction with the Executive Producer and PGJ mentors as well as team collaboration if your team chooses to use Slack.
