Launch the Lab

Square Root Academy is Launching Lab 7 and want you all there! Join us for our community introduction and STEM-tastic sneak-peek Open House.

Lab7 is a tech+creativity space which will operate both as a coworking facility and community education hub. Through Lab7 Square Root Academy will run FREE digital literacy and tech courses for the community in a effort to engineer equity and development.

Our Launch the Lab event will feature food, drink, live music, a photo booth, a rocket launch and hands-on science experiments. We will also have interactive booths from our partners – Hope Tech Sacramento, MakerHQ, Sacramento Developer Collective and Bigger Than Us Arts – providing robotics, video game creation, live music and more!

Launch the Lab is our preview event, purposed to introduce our vision to the community and fund-raise through Big Day of Giving to initiate the launch sequence.

The event is FREE and all are welcome!
(Still need convincing?…There may be an appearance from some furry friends all geared up and ready for a space walk/wag.)
