SUMMARY:Big Day of Giving 2023
DESCRIPTION:The Big Day Of Giving (or BDOG) is an annual community fundraising event put on by the Sacramento Region Community Foundation. With their help\, millions of dollars have been raised to help our community’s non-profit organizations. \nPlease consider taking part in this wonderful philanthropy opportunity and donate to one of the many deserving organizations in our community. \nThis is the first year that Sacramento Developer Collective is participating in BDOG and we would love to have your support. All funds donated to SDC will go toward the many events and programs that we run each year to help the local community of video game developers\, artists\, and creative talents\, from Progressive Game Jam to Capital Creative Showcase\, Global Game Jam\, and everything else. \nWe are also launching into youth education this year\, bringing our new Progressive Game Jam Educational Edition to area high school students with help from the City of Sacramento Measure U Funding. We hope to expand the area that this program can be facilitated\, but we will need additional funding to make that happen. \nTo make a donation to Sacramento Developer Collective\, click here… \n[button url=”https://www.bigdayofgiving.org/donate/Sacdevcollective” color=”#FFFFFF” background=”#666666″ gradient=”#444444″ description=”” size=”normal” position=”none” icon=”” target=”” rel=””]Donate[/button] \nThank you for all of your support!

DESCRIPTION:Progressive Game Jam is in its tenth season! \nThis season will be a 7-month long jam running monthly from September to March. Pitch Day is on the last Saturday of the month\, but all the other meetups will be on the 2nd Saturday of the month. \nIf you’ve never participated in Progressive Game Jam\, it is a long-form game jam that lasts several months long.
