DESCRIPTION:The Progressive Game Jam (PGJ) is an annual long-form game jam run by the Sacramento Developer Collective designed to provide participants with a team and enough time necessary to make a quality video game. \nThe event is free and open to everyone. All skills are welcome\, whether you are a programmer\, artist\, level designer\, sound engineer\, storyteller\, or simply just want to help provide ideas for a game. That includes all skill-levels from novice to expert\, or maybe you are just learning and looking for a great place to start. Everyone is welcome. \n[separator title=”” icon=”” style=”normal” color=”” top=”” ][/separator] \nPGJ 2022 is the eighth consecutive season of Progressive Game Jam and this season will run for three consecutive months starting in June and running until August. Development may continue up to the Capital Creative Showcase on Sept. 10th\, 2022 where participants are invited to show off their games at the PGJ Spotlight pavilion at the showcase\, sponsored by Hacker Lab. \nAs part of our hybrid in-person/virtual plan to resume events after the pandemic\, this event will also be broadcast live on our Discord Server for those that wish to attend virtually.
